Students will submit their application and choose the admissions method before taking the high school graduation exam. However, you need to submit a Temporary Graduation Certificate or a Copy of Graduation Degree for the enrolment process.
Before joining the course, students must meet the English proficiency requirements in our competency test. If students meet the English requirements, they will immediately join the course. If they do not pass, students will be advised to participate in English language training classes to study before joining the course.
Students joining the course are full-time students at UR, so student records need to be translated into English and notarized to be submitted to UR. And your information is managed, your degree will be issued by UR.
We always accept applications from students who have graduated from high school and who are preparing for the high school graduation exam. However, you will have 2 enrolment periods in October and March every year.
The course is provided and awarded by UR, so you are certainly a student of the UR system. Students of the course are full-time students at UR, have an ID and are on the same system as other undergraduate students at the university.
2. Tuition fees
The course's published tuition does not include study materials. Students prepare their own study materials according to the instructor's instructions for each subject. However, students will have access to UR's electronic library system to read related books. At the same time, joint-program students can also use the library system of UEH for their studies.
Depending on the results of the initial English proficiency test, each student needs to participate in different additional English classes. Tuition fees for these classes are announced separately, and are not included in our published course tuition fees.
One year consists of 2 semesters. Tuition fee is paid at the beginning of each semester based on the actual number of credits in the semester of the student.
3. Studying
Throughout the course, about 30% of core subjects will be taught directly by UR professors. Other subjects are taught by UEH lecturers who meets the strict standards required by UR.
Students are provided with UEH's most modern facilities for high-quality courses and international training courses which meet the requirements of UR. In addition, students have access to UR online library like other undergraduate students at the university.
The course is closely supervised by the UR. The entire learning, teaching and assessment process strictly complies with the regulations and standards at UR.
The course is taught entirely in English, regardless of whether studying in Vietnam or France. However, if you meet the French language requirements, in Year 3 when transferring to UR, you can choose to register to study subjects of the course in French if you want.

At the same time, students will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to participate in exams for international professional certificates in the industry such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), FRM (Financial Risk Manager), CMT (Chartered Market Technician), CPA (Certified Public Accountants) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
All the subjects are taught entirely in English with international qualifications to help students more easily integrate into the global labor market.
4. Degree and employment/ study opportunities after graduation
There is no distinction in qualifications in UR’s course. Your degree is issued UR, without any distinction compared to the degree received when studying fully in France.
Bachelor in "Applied Finance" is the first course in Vietnam to provide in-depth training in applied finance, technology-integrated finance, quantitative finance and data science applications in finance, etc. to work in the financial sector. Students are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful in positions such as finance specialist, risk management specialist, investment specialist, data scientist, economic forecaster, quantitative analyst, economist in banks, financial institutions, investment funds, consulting companies and other businesses.
The bachelor degree in "Applied Finance" awarded by UR is recognized worldwide. Students may continue their studies to any Master or PhD degree in the field of economics/finance if they meet other specific requirements.
In particular, thanks to the depth of the course, students can study straight into the second year of the master course at UR. Therefore, with the current policy, if you continue to study at UR, students have the opportunity to hold a master degree in only 01 year after graduation.
UR’s bachelor course in Economics and Finance is accredited and recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation based on the set of standards and guidelines for quality assurance for University Education in Europe. The course's degree is recognized throughout Europe, the world and of course in Vietnam.
